Sad to say goodbye to the summer months and August as well. We had an unusual summer as most would say. Hot, very humid and then we were thrown into the cool days and even cooler nights. With the changing of the weather we have been given seasonal fruits and vegetables that are very nourishing on the inside of our bodies that shows on the outside of our bodies as well. Organically grown with no poisons that could harm us in any way. Plus, it tastes so much better knowing it was locally grown than being sprouted from seed in a hot house. It was such a great feeling to see the abundance of locally grown produce from the regions farmer's market and made me think of new products.

Our newest cream, very high in vitamin C, has been tested by many people in New York, New Jersey, Ohio and of course Pennsylvania have given me very beneficial feedback. I thought it was a little too thick but everyone else thought the texture was perfect. Light and creamy and best of all not greasy. It has all natural and organic ingredients to make you look and feel fantastic. "Just right and don't change a thing," was the response of many testers. I do have a waiting list for when this new product is launched. I will keep you updated. It will be perfect for the cooler seasons headed our way...

We have had an extended Spring this year. That seems to put everything on the back burner. Who wants to think about working on Summery scents when the temperature is in the 50-60's? Well, that gave us enough time to prepare and ask customers which scents they wanted to see on our shelves come Summer. We have had quite a few requests! Green Tea and Herbal are new this year. I must say they are very popular with our customers of all ages. I received a phone call from a customer who told me she had wished she purchased the Herbal lotion to go with her soap. I told her when she is planning on a visit let me know and I will make sure she has the lotion to go along with her soap. She likes to layer her scents but again, who doesn't?

The classic scent from last summer was, Sun and Sand. It reminds you of the beach. Suntan lotion, seagulls, water and sand. I had a customer who traveled to Hilton Head, SC and on their way home she was already missing the sights, sounds and smells of the beach. She had a bottle of our, Sun and Sandy Body Mist. Well, she told me she sprayed it under their seats in their vehicle and she was in heaven. She might have been traveling back to Pennsylvania but she still had that little bit of sunshine to make her happy. Sun and Sand has been a top seller and we will never stop making it.

Another great scent has been our Chill cleansing bar. Perfect for those hot days after spending time in the sun and warm air. We have customers who call us in March asking if we are going to make it this year. It nice to see customers who place advanced orders, smile when they come in to pick up their order stating, "I have been waiting for this for so long! I love this soap!"...
