About Summer Hill Botanicals
Created in 2006. After years of trying different products on my skin and I can still remember standing in the shower scratching myself red from the soap I was presently using. Many people had suggested I try the "sensitive" skin type products. I did. I still didn't get relief. After much research and trial and error, I had developed a cleansing bar that was great on my skin and didn't cause me to itch anymore. Yes! I finally had created a product that I can use without any problems. I then created these bars in small batches and sold them in my store. To my surprise I found out that many people have the same problem. I started with just two scents- Lavender and Lavender Patchouli.
Now we have thousands of scent combinations and our product line keeps growing. We still make our products in small batches that way we can assure the quality is the best and you get the freshest bars on the market. Everything is made in our brick and mortar store. We always have soap curing and we are always experimenting and creating new products.
At Summer Hill Botanicals, our goal is to make the best in bath and body product's. We create our products using natural ingredients and blend them with today's science of knowledge. Every ingredient is researched and researched again before it goes into my products.
Our products are created from scratch retaining all the natural glycerin, vitamins and minerals. We don't use melt and pour. Soap making is a science and an art form.
We keep our ingredients to a minimum since most of our customers have skin issues. Once you try our products and see and feel the results you just fall in love with them.

Our Name
As a child I remember growing up and visiting my family in the countryside of a small town in Pennsylvania. Traveling down Summer Hill Avenue and seeing the roadside with beautiful flowers, flowering trees and climbing roses on the fences of many of the families homes who lived there. Years later, wondering what I should call my company. The name came to me and Summer Hill Botanicals was born. A happy memory with all the sights and aromas still very vivid in my memory. I know as we age some of our memories tend to fade. When that does, I hope all who still see our name remember the beginings of how it all started and how special that memory is for me.
